Legal Analysis & Commentary
Gary Hood has been representing clients and trying cases for 30 years. He's handled civil and criminal cases ranging from the largest, most complex cases involving numerous witnesses, experts, and millions of pages of discovery, to those that are more straightforward and personal. He's represented clients in complex patent and trademark cases, criminal cases ranging from simple assault and DUI to murder, and plaintiffs and defendants in automobile accident cases. His clients have covered the spectrum, from major Fortune 500 companies, to small and midsize privately held entities, to individuals. He's appeared in federal and state courtrooms nationwide, before a wide cross-section of appointed and elected judges and special masters. He's mediated and arbitrated more cases than he can count.
In short, Gary has "been there and done that." He is particularly well positioned to provide analysis and commentary on a wide range of intellectual property (patent, trademark, copyright) and technology cases and issues, including those involving electronics/software/telecommunications technology, as well as those relating to pharmaceuticals. He is available to analyze and comment on the record, or provide information on background when desired. He appears live or recorded, for television news programming, web/podcast, and printed publication.
